Remove media from alarm ringtone list

A few weeks ago or maybe last month my alarm ringtone list only had a few default options. Now all of a sudden it shows every single song that I have on my device and I can't seem to remove any of them. I would rather have no songs at all available for my alarm ringtone then have to deal with every single song on there and scroll through them all. Does anyone know how I can get rid of the songs from my alarm ringtones list?

The only thing that should show up in that list are files in the alarms folder as long as you are using the stock alarm.

Use a file explorer to see what files are in the Alarms folder.
