What is the best way to delete videos loaded onto the Nexus 7 which appear under the heading Personal Videos in the stock video player? I have used ASTRO to delete them but then they still appear in the Personal Video list (although they cannot be accessed) until you shutdown and reboot the Nexus 7. Thanks.

If you are deleting them because you are selling or returning the device, do a factory data reset.

How do you delete only some of them - for instance when you are keeping the Nexus 7 but just want to clear space?

With Audio you just hold the listing for long enough and a menu appears including delete. But for personal videos this doesn't work.

Seems odd as both apps are standard, included, Android apps.

Both the gallery and other movie apps let you select a picture or video and then hit the trash can.

However, with Android the Gallery app will still show the pix/video until the internal SD is re scanned. Get SDScanres and run it after you delete pix if you want them off the screen immediately.

Thanks Maxwell (later correction) umm RootBrain. Gallery + select + trashcan did it for me. (And they did go at once).

I have the Nexus 7 alongside the iPad 2 I've had for a year and I'm still getting used to it. So thanks to all people who replied.
