Remove Personalization?

When I bought my Moto X, I got the bright idea to add my name to Hello on the boot screen. Can anyone tell me how to remove that?

Unlikely you can. Bootanimation is on the system partition so cannot be changed

If you're rooted your root explorer can remove the file

when you factory reset the phone it gives you the option to remove the custom stuff

This is true. I had a greeting message on my 2013 motox and was given the option to remove it when I did a factory reset.
