Remove reset to fix stuck Nexus 6

My Nexus 6 has stopped turning on.

The light is flashing 5 times, then pausing and repeating but the power button is unresponsive.

I've tried leaving it for a few days drain the battery but it's not doing anything.

Is there any way to remotely reset it? (Or, do you have any suggestion as to how to get life into it again?_

I suggest you contact Google support. The flash-5-pause-flash 5 may indicate a hardware failure.

Seems to have sprung into life again. Just recharged it, the 5 flashes continued for a while but then stopped and the device powered up.
