I know how to remove the Sense unlock screen. If you remove that, though, you are left with the vanilla lock screen. Perhaps that would work for you but not too sure on that.
Edit: nm that won't work either. Still gotta swipe before entering pattern.
I tried searching for NoLock, but couldn't find it anywhere. I did find myLock though (don't know if that's what you meant). This worked, but it removed the slide lock AND my pattern unlock screen. I just want to disable the slide lock, but keep the pattern.
So after playing around in root based on what Viper said above, I found 2 files in /system/app:
HtcLockScreen.apk
HtcLockScreen.odex
I booted into recovery and moved those files into another folder. When I rebooted, I magically had the stock slide lock screen (though the buttons were not oriented properly):
Removing those files reverted back to the stock Android slide lock screen. Maybe there's something in the HtcLockScreen.apk file that has a clue to disabling the screen? I can't remember, but can the slide lock screen be disabled on a regular Droid?
