Having a great time with my phone so far, but one thing has bugged me. I have mistakenly auto saved some misspelled words, and would love to remove them. Is there any way to pull up the list of words you've added to the spell check list?

Apparently there's no way to remove a single mistakenly saved word. You can however reset the database (you'll lose all intentionally saved words).

menu -> settings -> manage applications -> touch input -> clear data

You can edit and/or remove words that have been automatically saved by going into Settings -> Language and Keyboard -> Touch Input -> User Dictionary.

It works on HTC Aria and HTC Incredible so I imagine it would work on HTC Hero as well.

u can "delete' the words by editing it into a word that is on the list that you want on it (case sensitive) and the phone will automatically erase a word if there is two of them

On the HTC One you can actually delete a single word from your personal dictionary or multiple ones (don't clear your data):

Settings -> Language & Keyboard -> HTC Sense Input -> Personal Dictionary -> in the top right corner there will be three dots, click on that and select delete -> a check list will pop up, then choose the word(s) you want to delete and hit the delete button at the bottom of the screen.

go to:
setting_Language & keyboard_HTC Sense Input_Personal dictionary
Delete the misspellings, its that easy.:
