It seems that Bell Mobility, in it's great wisdom, has decided to replace the HTC Locations App on its Desire Zs with Telenav GPS Navigator. Although I'm sure that Telenav is a fine app I don't want to have to pay to use it, both for the bandwidth in pulling in the maps as well as to use the app itself. Why couldn't Bell have left the phone's software alone and let us use it as it was originally designed by the manufacturer.:(

I don't think that HTC has launched LOCATIONS in NA yet. I guess they have only targeted the EU and Asian markets, but will be coming soon to NA later. I guess that's why Bell just put their own GPS navigator in, although I've never used it, its crap!

Just use the Navigator or Google Maps... works like a charm ;)

Can anyone help?

I did have a G1 and when I looked up a person in 'People' and wanted to find them on a map, I just clicked on 'View Address' and it automatically went into Google Maps. I now have a Desire z (fantastic!), BUT when I go into 'People' and then 'View Address' it automatically takes me to Locations (I hate it). Do you know how to get it to default to Google Maps?
