Removing Apps from Home Screen

I seem to have lost my ability to get the pop up menu on long press to remove items from Home Screen.

I've resorted to moving them to a second screen and then deleting that screen entirely. Any ideas? I've searched the menu and rebooted with no luck.

Welcome to the forums. Do you have animations disabled in the Developer Options?

Glad it helped! Samsung included some animations in basic launcher stuff and disabling them in the Developer Options can cause this kind of problems.
