Removing carrier restriction for Evo

I am new to this movement. I have an Evo 4g through the company I used to work for. No longer with the company and not with Sprint. Is it possible to remove the carrier restriction and switch to my current carrier Alltel. The Evo is not in use and I would like to use it again.

I've have only seen the Evo On Metro PCS

Well i guess you have to go back to Sprint.

A lot of regional carriers will add the ESN to their network for you, you then have to tweak some settings on the phone itself to work with their service. Some of their service departments will actually do this for you. I would bring it in to your local Alltel and see what they can do for you.
