Removing Lockscreen

Hey guys so I got my EVO on opening day and am loving it! Is there anyway to remove the sense lockscreen that comes up right away? I want to just have the password pattern come up like my buddies droid.

I'm new to android and sense so I'm not able to figure it out on my own.

To the OP I've been looking for this too. There's an app called "HTC lock screen" but I don't wanna force it off and break the phone.

Double edit: Disables lock mode too.

Pretty frustrating when people reply to your post and dont answer the question at all...sounds like Iam not able to turn off the sense lockbar and keep the pattern lockscreen from android...this is a bummer and I wish someone would come out with an app to allow this.
