I have a EVO 3D that's flashed to Page Plus and bootloader is unlocked (just so you have background info). Recently, Sprint sent out an OTA update and of course, I didn't update the phone. It would be a hassle to flash the phone to PagePlus again (I flash phones on the side and not sure what the update would change.) . However, I'm sick of seeing the OTA notification icon! How do I remove that and keep it from coming back?
I was brainstorming and thought if I changed the MSL using CDMA Workshop and then tried the OTA, it would error out since the MSL is different. I wasn't sure if it would try and download again and I'd be back to square 1 or not.
