My Xoom didn't come with "Spectral Souls" pre-installed, but Cordy was there. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove them without rooting. (There's also another thread here, with Cordy in the subject, about issues with trying to prevent Cordy from auto-updating.)
Yeah I don't think it's possible to remove any stock apps without root.. Tried it on my HTC Desire HD, and other android phones... it's a shame really.
