Removing "Recommended Apps" from Moto G Power

I just switched from Verizon Wireless to Xfinity Mobile.

How do I remove "Recommended Apps you've used" under "library" in the "Google Play Store"?

Since I do not have Verizon Wireless anymore, I do not want to see these apps there and would like them to be removed from showing up.

I have seen this asked on Google Help community forums and Google Experts say you can't clear that "recommended" list. Some users say you can by clearing all data for Google Play and Google Play Services > then re-update both apps. That seems pretty drastic in my opinion. Some say that works and others say the "recommended" list came back eventually.

There is no "X" next to it as seen on the screenshot.

I don't think the X appears for the Recommended list, it does seem to appear for previously installed apps.

Yeah , I see !

Try clearing Data and force stop play store and see if it appears.

Try this , tap on manage your app>then choose recommend and highlight the box to delete

OK, I figuired out how to get to to where you requested (Recommended) but when I am there the Verizon apps I want to delete do not show up.

There has to be a way to delete them.
