Removing Samsung Pay from my screen without having to install it first.

The new update for my Galaxy A5 includes a tab at the bottom of the screen that opens Samsung Pay. I want to get rid of the tab but I don't want to download and install the pay app. How can I get it off my screen if I can't use the app to remove itself?

If it's on the screen it's already installed. But probably as a vendor app, so you can't remove it without rooting. (Settings/Apps/Samsung Pay/Uninstall if the phone is rooted.)
