The first custom ROM for the Galaxy S7 Edge has been released by developer mwilky over on the xda developers forum...

Renovate Edge 1.0

It is TouchWiz based.

Fixed VR
Fixed loads of possible errors due to missing libGLESv3.so

Renovate EDGE beta 2 (26th March)
Rebased on G935FXXU1APC8
Added AROMA installer
Fixed all installer issues from beta 1
Hopefully fixed SD Card, (please let me know)
Added 5 way reboot menu
Removed more bloat
Enabled Settings/Dev Options by default
Enabled adb by default
Removed sd card notification"

Standard Installer (AROMA will be in beta 2)
Rooted with SuperSU (systemless)
Added busybox
Added init.d support
System mounted RW
Insecure boot.img
Hopefully fixed RW permission to external SD

This is for rooted users and is based on the unbranded U.K. release for the G935F model. Currently it is compatible with all Global G935F models as well as the G935FD, Duos, model, (on a single sim basis). Untested, as yet, on the Canadian, G935W8, model but should work. See the developers thread for more up-to-date information.

This is for experienced and competent users. Please read the developement thread, carefully and thoroughly before proceeding.

WARNING: DO NOT attempt to flash this on the S7 model or Qualcomm SnapDragon models.

Awesome! Are you running it? Also, is this only for the G935F model? I'm going to edit the title to suggest that it is so that users with non G935F devices don't go an install it.

Not running it personally. It is, as I stated in post #1, based on the Global G935F firmware but, as we are beginning to see in other posts and threads on the web, there is a crossover in kernels, firmwares, ROMs, mods, etc; to the G935FD, Duos, model and the Canadian, G935W8, models. However, as this ROM is so new, no one has tested this yet on those models which is why I did not restrict it to a particular model in the thread.

Edit. Tested and found working on the G935FD model, here, on a single sim basis.

I have amended post #1 to clarify the situation with the models concerned and with your permission, have re-edited the title. Hope you agree.

Looks good to me - Thanks for the quick update and clarification. Hopefully this is a good sign of things to come for those who wish to install ROMs onto their S7's.
