Reorder Photos in Album in New Google Photos

Love the new Google Photos, but I can't figure out how to change the order of photos in an album. I've tried on the app and my Chromebook. How does one do this?

It seems to be defaulting to putting them in date order, but friends are sending me some from last weekend, and they're showing up as TODAY (not the date they're taken). So I'd be content with chronological order, if it were accurate.

But there must be a way to manually order them like there used to be? Where is the "ORGANIZE" button?

Photos seems to be having trouble getting picture dates right sometimes. I'd you go to the old Ggogle Plus Photos page you can manually edit the dates.
