Dang.. the horror stories I've read about Samsung's "repair center" must all be true. I sent my phone out for a battery replacement because it randomly decides to not charge some days. I'm still under warranty soo they tell me to send it in to their repair center and not I've of their ubreakifix authorised centers.
Anyway I sent it out and was told it would take 10 days or so. So today, I got my phone back, which ends up being a day late, not that bad but still annoying. I open the package and they removed my tempered glass screen protector. Again a bit annoying because I paid 40 bucks for it but at least I have my phone back. When I inspect my phone, it has freakin dents and scratches on the frame.
I call Samsung support and they said the repair tech documented that I sent my phone in that condition. Unbelievable, I know it's not the fault of the support tech on the phone so I kept cool. I asked the entire call be recorded and added to my ticket. I will be calling again on Monday to speak to their repair center techs. I Already know they will deny everything and protect themselves. Does anyone have any tips for me?
I took photos and video of my phone before I sent it in just in case of a situation like this. I'm still in warranty until December of this year.
