Repeated play store updates

So I am getting app updates even after I have updated them. Verizon galaxy nexus with 4.04. I will update an app and then next day or even few hours later, my phone would say same update is available. It's not some minor bug fixes with a new update, as nothing new is coming up. It happens multiple times to multiple updates. Anyone else having similar problems. Happens on my wife GNex as well. Recent example: I have updated my starbucks app twice in one day, when one one update came out.

Yes! I have been experiencing the very same thing for months. I just ignore the ones I know I've already received, but it makes for an untidy list sometimes. Anyone know of a fix?

Sg3 jb 4.1.1 on AT&T. But it did it on ics too.

No one else experiencing this? I sometimes will jump back to app manager to check version numbers. On some occasions there are small incremental changes... 5.01a to 5.01b, etc... but many times the version wanting to update is exactly the same. If I get sick of looking at it long enough I just update twice and sometimes the "update flag" takes and it goes away.

Yes me too! It is really annoying because I can no longer trust the update notifications. Obviously ignoring them doesn't make them go away.
