replaced screen on skyrocket and now,

I replaced the screen on my skyrocket, I had two, one had a cracked screen, the other wouldnt stay on, but screen worked fine. I took all the working two big boards from the working unit with the cracked screen, and put them in the one the had a perfect screen but wouldnt load, ( figured it had a bad board) , Now everything on the phone with the good screen and new boards works the touch works. Only issue is the bottom four buttons ( home, back, magnifing glass and a fourth,) do not work at all, Any ideas on software / hardware issue that could cause this ,
