Replacement Note 7 Batteries in Korea having issues

I haven't noticed anything like this at all. Battery charges just fine and does not heat up. In fact, the battery life on my replacement Note 7 appears to be better than my original one.

Mine gets warm, but it got warm on the old one. I do find that it charges slower though, almost an hour and a half on the "wireless charger" and about 30 minutes longer to full on the plug in fast charger that came with it. I still think they rushed this batch too but we shall see!

I had this issue yesterday with my replacement Note 7, but I just got my replacement phone in the afternoon yesterday and was busy updating/restoring all my apps and settings and everything for hours yesterday. The phone got a little hot and the battery percent actually went down a % or 2 while hooked up to the stock fast charger and even stayed at the same percentage for a good 10-20 minutes.. I also got the little warning icon up top saying the phone was hot and may slow down or something until it cools.

After I was done setting up my apps and did the update (for the green battery icon), the phone has been acting and charging normally. I wonder if this article is just talking to folks over there seeing the same thing during their first day setting up, which is pretty normal considering all the background tasks going on at once while setting back up and restoring...

Please are just finding more and mpre reasons to pick on Samsung that's my honest opinion. My replacement works just fine and has 0 issues witj heating. If anything my s6 edge used to get super super hot. This article seems bogus just like how there have been quite a few false battery explosion cases with the original note 7.
