replacement phone anybody?

I purchased a samsung fascinate in 09 and my upgrade isnt due till june but ive had my fascinate replaced 3 times due to the issues but it was covered by factory warranty now my phone is missing calls and the main speaker doesnt work i tryd calling verizon and they said id have to pay 150 for a refub one is there anything i can do to have get my upgrade earlier? What do you guys think?

Even if you got your fascinate in June of 2009 you should be able to get your new ever two. It's been longer then two years this is assuming that you did get it from Verizon in 09 on contract.

You can ask really really nicely (call customer service dont talk to someone in a store) and you have a decent chance if you are willing to pay full upgrade pricing on a new phone. You would probably need to specifically ask for this and they may check your billing history and whatnot.
 
My wife picked up a fascinate in 2011and was having the same problems. I called verizon and they told me told do a reset the phone. Of course that didn't take care of the problem. I also had issues with my Thunderbolt that the 1st tier tech had no clue how to fix so he transfered me to a 2nd tier tech. After fixing the issue with my tbolt I mentioned my wife's fascinated and she told me that was a common problem and offered one of three new phones, DX2, Charge, or the incredible 2. She picked up the DX2 and has been happy with it ever since. Of course her fascinate was about a month or two old so you might not have the same luck. Don't forget to be courteous, they are more willing to help you out that way. Good luck

Since then they issued an update that fixed the problem with the phone not being able to receive calls. So I don't think he's gonna be able to get that deal anymore :-(

Typically the guys at the call center will push it through if you make up a good story. In the store they always tell us its 7 days prior to the upgrade date is the earliest in store. All I see is problems with the fascinate especially the warranty ones. good luck!
 
Thank you for the suggestions i will try calling and explain my problem cause at the store they told me to do a factory reset and i did but it didnt solve the problem.

Be polite when you call. Also ask for Retention dept. More than likely they will be able to help. But being rude can heighten the frustration.
