I have 2 options buy new phone or replace battery in my nexus 6. I love the phone, but battery is no longer lasting.

New phones are slim pickings. I hate the new rounded edges on most phones and i hate the notch in the new pixels. What is avil in android with no notch design and non rounded edges

I use nacho notch on the 3xl. Even when I don't, i hardly notice it. Really it's a non issues... At least for me.

The OP also doesn't want the curved screen edges, which started with the Pixel 2 XL. You might want to consider the original Pixel XL, which you can probably find refurbished for a pretty good price these days. It'll still get security updates at least through Oct 2019. It's no longer guaranteed to get any further Android version upgrades beyond Pie, although you never know! https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/4457705?hl=en

Pixel 3 is a great phone and would be my recommendation. I sold mine and switched to the Note 9 and it has curved screen but I am very happy with the build and over all everything with the phone. my 1st thought when I put the Note 9 in my hand was how big it was much like my old Nexus 6 "The big blue whale"
