I don't have insurance on my phone but it is a subsided carrier HTC M8 version. Lately the battery capacity has reduced to the point where it switches off at 20%. I've had it for two years so the behavior is to be expected. However, I've heard the battery can be replaced. I know that the phone is difficult to disassemble so I don't really feel comfortable replacing it myself. Anybody know how much HTC (or 3rd party) would charge if I wanted to replace the battery, if it is worth it at all?
