I abandoned my earlier Replenish, and bought a new one on Ebay.

I was rooted, and running a custom rom and kernel, but Play Store would always terminate before I could do anything. This continued to be an issue even after doing a factory restore, and clearing cache. I looked around for new copies of the rom and Kernel, in case they had somehow been corrupted on my phone, and couldn't find links that worked. Therefore, I will not be rooting the new phone.

Now, the new phone is on Froyo (build ED15)but it refuses to find an OTA update I have tried to "Update Firmware" and "Update Samsung Software" (I forget which one would download the update). I tried each a couple of times over the last feww days.

To be honest, I am fine with Froyo, but was curious if anyone knows if Sprint deleted the update to save a couple of meg on their terabytes of storage, or if there is something else I should try... I don't care enoughb about upgrading to even spend my time with calling for support. :)

Any thoughts?

Yeah, I've been picking up one myself for my mom since my old Photon was failing and she needed something similar. This one has ED15 as well and it won't update to anything newer than that.
