MMM I wonder if you could get that as your actual plate, I know a lot of people do club logo's and school logo's etc. (with letters on each side)

In Maryland I know the organization has to be a recognized nonprofit. If there was an overall nonprofit "Android Foundation" it would be doable, but probably not as it stands now. Otherwise it's a pretty simple process:
