Repurchase apps

I had a moto droid but ended up not liking it so I returned it and went to another device on another carrier. Now I pre-ordered and am getting the HTC Droid Incredible. I purchased some apps (like Weatherbug Elite and a few others) and I'll be using the same account on my new device so will I have to re-purchase them or no? I read differing accounts on other sites.

There may be app specific exceptions (I don't know any), but in general the purchase is tied to your Gmail account and is yours to use on any device you want to. Where are your reading otherwise?

On other sites, I really don't remember where. I did a google search for it.

I usually only come on this site for everything Android.

The only thing I've heard is that sometimes apps that showed up in the Market on one device, didn't show up on another. This was particularly true with the Nexus, but supposedly they resolved that problem.
