repurpose home button?

hi guys i've been looking for a way to repurpose the home button or like double tap to get google search. I miss pressing a physical button to do a quick search. I already diabled s voice as well.

I know you can "remap" the home button with an alternate launcher like Nova or Apex.

Why don't you try 1 Tap quick bar as a replacement
