Hi, everyone. If you have a spare moment, can you all try to do something on your edge screens? Noticed a "quirk" on mine and want to see if I'm not alone.
On your home screen, try cycling through the various edge panels you have by swiping very close to the actual screen edge. Are you noticing that this doesn't register as well within "thumb's reach" as opposed to the upper half of the edge screen? I've noticed that on the lower portion of the screen, cycling does not consistently occur unless I'm beginning my swipe closer to where the flat display and edge panel meet. On the upper portion, however, I can swipe very close to the end - the middle of the edge screen - and my swipes are registered all the time.
I figure this is probably intentional to help reduce false taps and swipes when your palm is near the bottom half of the edge screen, but it never hurts to double-check your $1,000 phone, right? Thanks everyone in advance.
