Could someone develop a stock froyo rom that includes dalvik to sd or some other mods that would free internal space like in aosp's cm7 rom? I'm not really sure of how that would be accomplished but i know the dev's here are very capable. Im actually interested in learning how to create my own roms if there is anyone who would be willing to teach me.

Echoing munkyvirus, for my 'stock' ROM, Aphrodite 1.3.3 has been nothing but an absolute pleasure to use. Clean, lean, and no wackiness, it's pretty worthy and was the first ROM that made me understand how good this phone can really be.

We're really fortunate to have some great devs (LeslieAnn in the case of Aphrodite) working on our phone. They're a true credit to this community.

If you are looking for room for apps, try Googleing dalvik to cache. It seems the dalvik cache on this phone is actually stored in user memory. This moves it to the cache partition and will free up 30-50 megs of memory for you use for apps. The only drawback I've found it replaces the boot animation with the Sprint boot animation. Remember, as with any mods you make to your phone always make a backup before you make any changes. This mod is not reversible, so of you need to change it back, you will need a backup to flash.

I'm currently running the aphrodite rom, and while it's wonderful and speedy with no lag I'm still running into the same issues with space. My internal space sucks after I install all of my apps.

I'm coming from a HTC Hero with Darchstars A2SD script so I guess I'm kinda looking for something of that nature built into the stock rom

Thanks for the tip. Does this app work with the stock vm rom? I wanted to stay as close to stock as possible
