Damn it Google just singlehandedly destroyed some of our smartphone reselling businesses!

I need ideas on how to sell my Nexus 4 and I'm sure some of you do too! Please share any avenues you have, I'm desperate!

Almost 2 months away from the release of the Nexus 5. Dropping the price of the Nexus 4 was to be expected. Plus the phone has been out for almost a year.

Pretty certain that Google doesn't care they destroyed your reselling business. It's probably safe to say you aren't an authorized reseller nor wise businessman/investor.
Here's an idea. Use it until it's broken, all the while saving hundreds of dollars. Then when it breaks, buy the latest and greatest phone with gadgets you'll never need or use. Or you could donate it for a tax right off to a battered women's shelter or something similar.

its way better than galaxy nexus which was $600 at launch and dropped to $350 after 6 months.
the price was dropped $100 which was to be expected especially new nexus 4 is 2 months away.

even if i sell my phone for $150!!!! $200 is well worth spend in 2 years

My wife has a Nexus, and I have a Nexus 4. My plan is to get the new Nexus 4, give my current phone to my wife, and sell her Nexus. I would imagine this will hurt the resale value of the Nexus as well, since 16GB versions in good shape were still going for $200 or more. Oh well, I don't mind too bad taking a bit of a hit. It's good to see Nexus devices getting out there!

You could try selling it to folks residing in countries that dont have google play stores and with favorable exchange rates. I had pretty good luck getting my asking price, selling to people from other countries working here on visas.

It happens, same thing will happen shortly for other phones as the Note 3 and iPhone 5W(hatever) is released.

Ummm, sell to someone in a country without Google Play access, or no?

I would just hold on to it for a couple months, once the new nexus comes out I'm sure they will discontinue this nexus 4. Same way they have with everything else. once that happens we might get some resale value back.. (Hopefully)
