Hi. I got my new Pixel 4. I have it set up on my secondary line (I have two lines). I do not have time to set it up and just turned it on and activated and skipped transferring the data. All I have done was add in my gmail account.

If I reset the phone, does that bring it back to factory reset as if I was turning it on the first time?

When I am ready, I am actually going to use it as my primary phone so want to transfer that data.

What data is transferred?

And any issue with transferring the data from my primary phone but not transfer the number yet and just transfer the number when I am ready to?

I assume the only data that might not be current would be call logs and text messages if I transfer data but wait a week before transferring the number (or swapping numbers).

thanks,

Mike

Yes, without changing any OS updates. The 4 hasn't been updated yet (it should have the October update), but if you reset it in the future, updates to the system, and updates to system apps, will remain.

Anything that was backed up on that Google account.

No. You'll have to do it by WiFi, otherwise there's no problem.

Yes. Unless you have TWRP installed on the old and new phones, and do a backup of the old phone, with both phones in airplane mode, then restore the backup to the new phone. (Of course there's no TWRP for the Pixel 4 yet (but probably will be shortly)
