Reset to factory condition

I am finally getting an EVO in a few days. I am going to sell my Hero to a friend. What can I do to erase all of my information and reset it back to out of the box condition? I have searched the Hero forums but couldn't find any instructions. Thanks in advance.

HOME > MENU, then tap Settings > Security > Factory data reset

It will wipe clean anything that is not on your SD card, so yes

Just checking out the steps. Under security, I do not have a factory reset data option. Could it be under another section?
