Reseting PIN

Hi, I decided to set up my fingerprint and pin last night, but accidentally set my pin to something different than I thought. My fingerprint works just fine, but when I went to make adjustments to my security it asked for my pin which I cannot figure out. Is there a way to reset my pin without having to completely reset my phone?

Find my mobile doesn't allow you to change the PIN. You can try different variations of the PIN you thought it is. If you have the auto factory reset function enabled, you have 15 tries. If you don't then keep trying. Otherwise, you will have factory reset the phone.

The phone will ask you for your pin to do a factory reset.

Yes, if you do it via settings. If you have it set to reset after 15 unsuccessful tries, it'll not ask anymore. I know, I forgot my PIN... Once... Well 15 times actually.
