resize widgets?

Just got the phone and coming from a Galaxy, I can't figure out how to resize my widgets, in particular weather ones. They are always off centered either left or right. Can't figure it out guys. Any ideas? Thanks

Don't have the G2, but I believe it depends on the Launcher. I don't think stock launcher allows you to re-size them (could be wrong) but Nova Launcher and Apex do.

While on the home screen that displays the widget, long press until you feel the vibration feedback and then let go, a slider box will appear around the widget. If it allows for resizing you can make your adjustments then. Some, but not all, widgets allow for resizing.
