Resizing Homescreen

Is there a way to have a picture just appear on your home screen? The problem I run into is that i want to put a picture of my kids in my home screen but it always spreads it out over all the screens.

No its not possible as far as i know BUT if you use nova or apex launcher you can do what ur asking
