RESOLVED: Fingerprint security shows enabled, but suddenly not operating

In the last 12 hours, I noticed I'm not having to use a fingerprint to unlock my phone. On the security screen, it shows it activated. Restart didn't fix it, either.

I swear this phone is inventing new ways to make me look forward to looking at other brands when this contract is up.

Somehow, I activated Smart Lock. In retrospect, I guess it's not that bad of a thing.

Leave me alone. I'm old.

I did the same a few weeks ago, took me by surprise at first but I really like it, no more finger scan at home but out and about its back on.
