Response from PikPok about Flick Kick not showing up in market

I had recently emailed PikPok about the game Flick Kick not showing in the market on some of our evo's. They wanted to know if the evo had Open GL ES 2 support. I told them, "indeed it does". This is the response I got minutes ago...



We have established after consulting with Google that this related to how the device ?talks to? the Market. The Evo phones are known to be reporting to Google Market that they don?t support OpenGL ES 2, and as a result the Market will not resolve our app for them. An update is apparently available to address this problem.

So, maybe hopefully we'll get it soon. This may be to blame for other apps not showing. I am rooted, so this also might be a culprit. Just thought everyone might like to know. Thanks...

I was able to download the game from the market on my Evo.

Did you try using a web link and not searching the market?

It doesn't apply to all Evo's, just some. Yes, tried weblinks, qr codes, app brain and all. Could be that I'm rooted though, so who knows...
