Hey everyone, I am new to Samsung and Android. I used to have Iphone and Windows phone. I received my Galaxy S7 on March 8th, so i have now had this for just over 2 weeks. I was wondering if having to restart my phone at least once a week is common practice. I have had to do this twice now cause things just seemed to start to run funny, or sluggish some would say. I don't know if this is phone or android related. When i had Iphone or Windows phone i only had to restart about once a month, and sometimes not even then. I love the Samsung Galaxy s7, I think its the best phone i have ever had. I was just wondering if restarting once a week or so is common. Please let me know your experiences.
Thanks.

I've had to do a couple of restarts since I got the phone. It seams to be related to updates normally I wouldn't restart my phone at all.

The only time my phone has been sluggish in the past few weeks is while I had the Dunkin Donuts app installed. Believe it or not that one app cause major problems with the phone. Once I uninstalled it I have not had to restart my phone at all.

I seem to get app updates almost everyday. That does not seem to affect my phones performance. I have had one software update last week and it did restart then. I do not have the dunkin donuts app. My apps consist of banking, and one drive, one note. I do have facebook but i rarely use it. And i close all my apps quite often.

Bwaaahahaha... Dunkin' Donuts app lagging a phone...sounds about right. After I eat a dozen cream filled with sprinkles, I'm lagging too.

It would depend on how you are using the phone... I had to restart and force close apps on my iPhone 6s Plus at least once a day , otherwise it got buggy. Of course I have to restart my s7 edge as well... Not a big deal.

I restarted one time, for sluggishness, it was after update. I have had my phone since the 8th and No other problems.

I restart once a day. Don't see it as any type of hassle or issue. Takes little time or effort. Never have any issues or laggyness. Do this with all my phones, same for computers, not a big deal to me. So once a week is nothing.
