This might been asked before and I think people said to use Titanium, but want to ask again to make sure...

Each time when I update a ROM or anything, I usually wipe cache and wipe data a couple of times prior to install. Afterwards, I have to go google market and download all of the apps I purchased. I then have to remember or figure out those free apps I had download previously.

Is there a way to just backup and restore those apps w/o having to this it each and everytime?

If Titanium is the answer, how / what setting?

Thanks

Titanium backup is the answer. The free version works fine, it's just a little slower. Paid version has extra features like allowing more than one backup per app and the ability to freeze apps. When you start it up hit the menu button and select batch. From there you can choose to backup all user apps. After flashing a new ROM and starting up a clean system, you just have to install Titanium again (it saves your backups on your SD card in it's own folder) then in the same batch section choose restore missing apps with data. You'll still have to confirm the reinstallation of your apps individually, but it'll be doing them in one operation, one right after another.
