Restore Mario Run purchase?

Hi.

I purchased the Mario Run game but I bought it on the iPhone (iOS version).

I should be able to restore it even with an Android version, correct?

I just got my Samsung S8 Plus, but using the restore feature, it says "You have no content that can be restored."

Any ideas how to make this work?

Unfortunately, I don't think that's possible with Mario Run.

You will have to purchase it again.

Doesn't work across platforms. There's no record of you having purchased it on Android as it's tied to your Google account whereas with an iPhone it would be with your Apple ID

If you sign in with your Nintendo ID, it should restore it.

I had to start all over.

I just moved from nexus 6P to iPhone 7+, linking my Nintendo Id restored all my data except I do need to rebuy the full game.
