Restore or Clean Install on apps, settings, etc.

So now that it's in its way before I get it I have a question for the experts. On my S4 I have quite a few apps and the settings pretty much set like I like them.

With this new phone, however, should I do a clean install of my apps and settings (minus phone book, etc.)for better performance in the short and long term?

What's everyone's recommendations?

i always like to start fresh. yes it's more of a PIA but you know you're not carrying over incompatible or corrupt settings/data.

Start fresh, it's worth the extra time to configure things from scratch.
