A
Android Central Question
On both of my phones I am able to see the recent applications that I have used when I press and hold the home button. While doing so I am given 3 choices along the bottom of the screen:
#1 is a pie shaped button with:
Active apps, downloaded apps, RAM, clear defaults and storage.
#2 a search magnifying glass.
#3 An x which DELETEs everything above... meaning the open and active apps are closed leaving you with a dark but blank transparent screen that says:
"No active apps"
The 3rd button, the delete button is right above the back button arrow and I have accidentally touched this button and erased the apps I was using.
My only question is, how do you reverse this, is it possible? How do you restore the apps you had open before you accidently closed all of them? Yes, I am aware that [If I remembered] I could open all 15 apps again but the page/place settings would be lost.
It's not in the manual. Does anyone know of a quick trick because restart, removing the battery and turning the phone on and off doesn't work. My chrome laptop has crashed before and after it was restarted the new screen had a restore tabs button. I need this type of action because the Android history screen doesn't have what I need.
Thanks.
