Restoring using Titanium Backup

So my screen cracked big time over the weekend and I have a replacement being delivered tomorrow.

I have never had to do a restore, so I'm very nervous on how to bring everything over so it's all the same on the new device.

I'm rooted and using Titanium Backup, so I have hope that it will do what it's supposed to do, but are there any real-life experience lessons that anyone can share to help the full restore go smoothly?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest uninstalling Titanium Backup and ROM Manager as one of the two (prob Titanium Backup) messed up my Nexus S 4G. Backing up your phone and then restoring can always cause problems so i think you should just start fresh and copy the necessary things over...just my opinion

You have that backwards. I can assure you Titanium Backup didn't mess up your phone unless you restored system data or did something else screwy. Rom Manager on the other hand has caused tons of problems for lots of people on many different phones.

Op, as long as you don't restore system data with TB, only user apps and data, it works great. I flash a lot, use it every time, and it's never let me down.
