Wow. I just called my best buy here in New Orleans, and they do not sell phones at full retail. Bummer because she said that they have some in stock and ready to go.

I didn't know if they sold them for retail, but you can see in the photo they list full retail at $699.00.

i have bought phones at full retail at bestbuy numerous times. the only issue is best buy is always more expensive at full retail then the carriers.

they are cheaper on contract but more expensive after. generally best buy is $50-200 more expensive than carriers.

like the htc inspire is $400 from at&t off contract but when it was released it was $600 at best buy.

the blackberry torch is like $500 at best buy but $450 from at&t

the only time i buy full retail from best buy is if i have a gift card from trade in or reward zone certificates.

im going to say $600-$650 is a very safe estimate.

Heard that full retail would be $600 from Cellular Sales here in Greensboro, NC. Also heard like many, that they have the phones in stock, but are unable to sell them.

I don't know if can wait any longer....If the phone is not out on Thursday and VZ announces the Trophy I'm jumping ship...that or going back to the:-\ TB.

This is a seriously messed up launch and honestly I am considering the Samsung Infuse (yeah ATT) or GS2 depending on launch time. Its just a joke that Verizon can't launch a decent 4G LTE phone and while I do not see ATT's network as 4G, ala 3.5G the speeds in my market are there so really who cares.
