We have officially retired my HTC U11. I used it myself until getting the u12 Plus, then passed the U11 to my wife who used it since 2019. Physically, it held up VERY well, and everything works. The battery was replaced once, the USB C port was replaced due to damage. The main reasons for retirement were poor support of a phone this old by Mint/T-Mobile, and battery. My wife has a habit of charging all night long despite my reminders that it's bad for the battery, and it can not longer make it through a day without charging multiple times. Performance was sort-of adequate, and she never complained about slowness, but her 88 THOUSAND text messages didn't help! After transferring the data to her new U24 Pro, I physically cleaned the U11 up, charged it to 65%, powered it off, and put it in a holster case for protection. It was a good ride with lots of fond memories, and I have to say the U11 was (and still is) an eye catcher.
