hi all

i used my premier upgrade to get evo but now i am thinking to return it and wait for galaxy s

my question is if i return within 30 days do i get my upgrade eligibilty back or is that gone?

Yes, you should get your eligibility for upgrade back, I did when I returned my Pre last year.

Can you share with us why it is that you're returning it and wanting to get the Galaxy S instead? Is it the battery that's the reason?

no i really am not happy with sdcard issue and really like the super amoled

i already applied ota and still have sdcard issue

You say to "use the search button" - that's a little vague. Could you please provide a little more info.

The point they're making is, that the EVO doesn't have an SD card issue. It was fixed in the first OTA patch. If you still have issues, you should get a new EVO, or have your SD card checked.

i have tried the sdcard from my hero and am on my second evo from bestbuy and still have sdcard problems

If this dude can't take all of two minutes to type up a quick synopsis of this so called "issue" I doubt it's an issue at all. He's just making an excuse to return the phone which doesn't make sense to me. If you don't like it, you don't like it - plain and simple. There's really no need to claim a false defect.

If in fact you are having SD Card issues, could it possibly be due to a bad SD Card? Have you tried to format it?

I have 3 EVO's and none of them have any kind of sdCard issues, but to each is there own. He not happy with EVO that is his problem, wish him best of luck with what ever he gets.

SD Card issue is fixed and gone. If your phone is not working correctly please take it to Sprint for a replacement!

i have replaced it like i said before and tried using my hero sdcard yes after formatting both on my pc and pnboard format from evo

the sdcard issues i have are really annoying

i get a sdcard insufficient permisions error alot whe trying to take pictures
i also get random picture corruption i tried reseting to factory settings as well
i also get empty folders on multiple file explorers when there is files in those folders
it also stops in middle of music tracks and i get a sdcard error on stock music player and doubletwist

and i was very happy for the phone but along with these sdcard issues i have and the glass popping up at bottom of evo really got me rethinking of waiting to see galaxy s and then deciding which i want

I'm simply trying to get educated on the matter. I have no SD card issues to my knowledge and was wondering if there was something you knew that I didn't. Given the responses from others, I will presume I am excluded from SD card issues Evos...LOL. Mine works great.

Also, asking as to why it would compell you to jump ship is for once more, educating myself on why folks have regrets on getting the phone, etc. It's nothing personal...if anything, like most here....I investigate for personal gain to some degree or other.

i already stated in my first post that i alreay applied the latest ota and i didnt root my evo either

look guys just relax all i asked was if i can return the evo and get my upgrade back and wait for the galaxy s to compare and then decide

Maybe this person is just a ' EvoChondriac ' ... His phones seems to have every known random issue assoicitated with the over 100,000 Evos out there ... He wants the Galaxy S ... More power to him ... Til he grabs that one and then the next device on the block comes around ... He will ' find ' issues with his galaxy and try to convince himself that it sucks too ... No worries friend ... We are not here to convince you one way or another ... Just make up your mind and go with it ... No need to solicit sympathy here.
