Returning to stock

I am currently rooted with custom recovery and the last ?your mom? rom. I sold the phone so I need to back to stock. The last official gingerbread update is fine. I looked around the dev section and saw a couple different older methods. Can anyone point me in the right direction in the easiest way to get back to stock recovery and latest official rom?

This is the easiest way, but does revert to zvd baseband for froyo.

this is the best way to do it or if you just want regular stock gingerbread flash stock gingerbread recovery and flash zvh update.zip in a thread you gotta look around but if your just downgrading froyo then just follow the thread quoted
