Well, I updated to Gingerbread. And after seeing that Swype is a keyboard option, I decided to run the tutorial from the settings. It popped up a menu, asking which keyboard I wanted to use. I selected Swype, and ran the tutorial. I hate this keyboard. So, so, so much. But now, I can't find how to go back to the original Touch Input keyboard! Someone help?

Long press your finger in the message area where you would type in the Messaging app. After you long press and release it brings up a Input Method button giving you the choice between Swype and Touch Input. Hope this helped!

You might want to give Swiftkey Keyboard Free a try. I love it. It's available on the Market. But I would suggest you not download the X Beta version. It's very good, but also very buggy right now. Wait until it comes out of beta, probably in September. However, if you like the Free version, the paid one is reasonably priced and all upgrades are free (as when the beta version is ready, probably as Swiftkey 2).
