Reuters news, and auto play solution

Every time I get a new car, android auto starts playing Reuters news or my music from Samsung music player. Solving both were pretty easy. I Uninstalled the Samsung music player app and all music files. This doesn't bother me because I carry a dedicated high resolution player that fits right in my pocket. Then I Uninstalled the GOOGLE NEWS APP. As much as I enjoyed scrolling through the news on this app, I didn't want the hassle of turning Reuters news off all the time. If anyone has a better solution, I'm up to hearing about it. Thanks.
