I think they just mean the 'inform me when available list'. And I'm sure their definition of 'long list' is exaggerated. Probably greater than any Sprint phone in past, which seems realistic. But it's the Jeffries announcement that I found more interesting. Might be before the launch party tonite.

To me its sounds as if during the Jefferies investor conference Dan Schulman said those details will be announced shortly. Not that they will be announced at a Jefferies conference.

Sprint in house training on the 6th?

Where is this waiting list?

My local BestBuy mobile has started a "notify me" list, claiming that as soon as a formal date is announced they will use that to then take $50 deposits.

Today...Bad news is guy in the store claimed to have knowledge of a in-house major Sprint training session where they would train on the new plans etc. for the Evo...and that was scheduled for the 6th. His conclusion from that is that the phone will not be available until sometime after those training sessions...15th.

Could all be bogus..but ya never know.

EDIT...ok this says Sprint training has started NOW.. so hopefully this guy was completely wrong.

The webcast is referring to pre-paid changes there making not the EVO
